Hardened Hearts

I know what it’s like to look at Israel in the wilderness and think, how could they forget so fast?

And then I look at my own life, and I’m not so different.

This series was never meant to be a complete or exhaustive study of what hardens a heart — think of it as a starting point. We walk through forgetting what God has done, the deceitfulness of sin, and the grief our rebellion causes the heart of God — not to condemn, but to invite the Holy Spirit in.

Have you forgotten something God has done for you? Has your heart grown a little calloused in an area you haven’t named yet?

My prayer is that these teachings stir you to open your own Bible, ask the Holy Spirit to search your heart, and receive the mercy that is new every morning — right where you are.

Forgetting What God Has Done

Have you ever looked at the Israelites in the wilderness and thought, “How could they forget God so fast?” And then looked at your own life and realized… we’re not so different.

The Deceitfulness of Sin

We go a layer deeper — into sin’s “delusive glamour,” and why we so often end up walking away from God the same way a teenager pulls away from a parent.

Grieving the Heart of God

Have you ever thought about what your rebellion actually costs God? Not in punishment, but in grief? We look at the story of Jonah — someone who received mercy, and still struggled to want it for someone else.

The Unbelief That Blocks His Rest

We end where we began — looking honestly at our own walk with God. This teaching looks at what unbelief costs us, and closes with an invitation: choose, today, to enter the rest He’s offering.
