This is the result of that horrific storm. That made me think of storms in our lives. Storms can come because of various reasons. 1. It can be just life happening.
2. The result of other people’s poor choices
3. The result of your wrong choices
4. An onslaught of the enemy
5. Sometimes you must make the decision to stand up for what is right.
When we are in a storm we are vulnerable, sometimes broken and crushed and a lot of times we don’t know how we would survive.
The good thing about being vulnerable is that we can call out to God for help and guidance. We can decide to do spring cleaning of our hearts.
It is now 3 weeks after the storm and the things that came out of the sea are smelling so bad that they sometimes overpower the beauty of the sea.
That what is in us and that is not from God can make our hearts impure and unholy. It is like 1 rotten egg among 10 that can spoil everything.
What is in your heart?
Is God giving you red lights to warn you but you are ignoring it?
A red light is an opportunity to stand still for a moment and ask God what the problem is and what He is trying to tell you.
So this morning during my walk I was in deep conversation with God . I didn’t even realize that I walked a different route than what I wanted to walk. I only discovered that after a while . The point of that story. When you go through the storm and you keep your eyes and ears close to God you can walk up the mountain effortlessly. Know that you are never alone.
If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands.16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever— 17 The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you.
John 14:15-17
I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]
Philippians 4:13 (AMP)
When you are going through a storm remember that you are not alone. What Jesus did on the cross and His blood prepared the way for us to walk in victory.
Who has believed (trusted in, relied upon, and clung to) our message [of that which was revealed to us]? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been disclosed? 2 For [the Servant of God] grew up before Him like a tender plant, and like a root out of dry ground; He has no form or comeliness [royal, kingly pomp], that we should look at Him, and no beauty that we should desire Him.3 He was despised and rejected and forsaken by men, a Man of sorrows and pains, and acquainted with grief and sickness; and like One from Whom men hide their faces He was despised, and we did not appreciate His worth or have any esteem for Him.4 Surely He has borne our griefs (sicknesses, weaknesses, and distresses) and carried our sorrows and pains [of punishment], yet we [ignorantly] considered Him stricken, smitten, and afflicted by God [as if with leprosy].5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement [needful to obtain] peace and well-being for us was upon Him, and with the stripes [that wounded] Him we are healed and made whole.
Isaiah 53:1-5 (AMPC)
